HAVELI (Kashmir English): The Federal Ombudsman Regional Office Muzaffarabad held an open court in Farwad Kahuta, Haveli district, where citizens lodged complaints against various federal agencies.
Regional Head Mansoor Qadir Dar heard the complaints and assured redressal within 60 days. Representatives of several federal agencies, including PTA, NADRA, BISP, National Bank of Pakistan, and Bait-ul-Mal, participated.
As per details, the citizens piled up complaints about the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), poor service of SCOM, dilapidated condition of the National Bank, and shortage of staff.
Citizens complained that deserving people were not receiving money under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). They said that, except for the NADRA, no federal department is functioning properly in the region.
Furthermore, Citizens complain that they are being humiliated all day long due to a lack of staff and dilapidated condition at the National Bank.
Regional Head assured the resolution of complaints within 60 days and said that the reply will be sought from the PTA authorities regarding internet service issues.
Later, the Federal Ombudsman official also visited the federal departments, including NADRA, the Post Office, and BISP.
