ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial stated that no decision has been made to impose extra taxes on solar panel imports and there is no proposal to raise the existing solar panel tax rate.
The FBR chairman noted that instructors have been given a lot of relief. Starting with the following fiscal year, teachers will qualify for a 25 percent income tax refund. They will either get a refund or an adjustment under the same rebate policy for this year.
In cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the FBR head also said that negotiations are ongoing to get relief for the salaried class and to assist other sectors as well.
