HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider Khan, has announced his intention to contest the upcoming election from Constituencies six and seven of Jhelum Valley district.
He emphasized the importance of unity and consensus among party workers, urging them to avoid creating chaos before the election.
He expressed these views while talking to members of the Executive Council, Raja Nisar Ali Khan, Syed Aslam Hussain Kazmi, senior league leader Haji Amir Khan Chughtai, and Raja Aftab Ahmed over the phone.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan stressed that all party workers, including himself, are committed to the party’s decisions and should work together to ensure a strong showing in the election.
The former Prime Minister plans to hold meetings with workers from both constituencies to discuss important decisions, including ticket allocation, which will be made in consultation with the workers.
Raja Farooq Haider Khan has asked party leaders to convey his message to all workers in Jhelum Valley, emphasizing the need for calm and unity before the meeting.
Khan’s announcement comes amid political activity in Jhelum Valley, where various parties and members are strategizing for the upcoming election.
Notably, his constituency has seen significant political maneuvering, with alliances being formed and candidates being nominated.
