The BBL will finally have some stars like Babar Azam, Travis Head, and Glenn Maxwell return.
It featured some of the most celebrated participants ever, and it marked the start of a new season of the Big Bash League 2025-26. A more advanced overseas draft system introduced by Cricket Australia included Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories.

Since he will be serving two roles for the side, Rizwan will be valued at twice the price he will be paid.

Just after his Pakistani counterpart stands the death bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi. Rated among the finest left-arm bowlers in world cricket, Afridi joined the Melbourne Stars. Attached with the Platinum tyre, Shaheen can also be paid the maximum amount offered in the premium slot, i.e., AUD 270,000.
