RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): The central election schedule of Azad Kashmir College Teachers Association(AKCTA) has been announced with polling to be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
Chief Election Commissioner AKCTA Professor Dr. Yasir Arafat Abbasi said that the election schedule has been issued, exercising the powers granted in the constitution.
According to the details, the voters’ list should be delivered to the Local President of AKCTA and the verification principal institution Central Chief Election Commissioner’s Office Government Postgraduate College Rawalakot by May 06, 2025.
The submission process for nomination papers will be held on May 08 from 9:00 am to 04:30 pm at the Central Election Office, Government Postgraduate College Rawalakot, in the presence of the proposed endorser.
Later, the scrutiny of the papers will be done on May 9, and the return of papers can be done on May 11, by 02:00 PM. The final list of candidates will be released on May 13, 2025.
“All candidates are advised to take the necessary steps to complete the selection process, keeping in mind the wider interests of college teachers,” said Chief Election Commissioner AKCTA.
