SRINAGAR (Kashmir English): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), students have expressed deep concerns over the continued suspension of internet services, urging authorities to restore connectivity immediately.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the administration under the New Delhi-appointed Lieutenant Governor, has kept internet services suspended across the occupied territory for the past five days to prevent people from sharing content on social media regarding US-Israeli aggression on Iran.

Appeal from Kashmiri students

Students across Kashmir have appealed for the urgent restoration of high-speed internet, stating that the shutdown has disrupted online learning and other academic activities.

Students told media representatives that slow or suspended internet has made it difficult for them to attend online classes, download study materials, and complete essential academic registrations.

They emphasised that thousands of students are facing serious challenges due to the ongoing internet suspensions and urged the authorities to immediately restore reliable internet services.
