ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Director General of Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, attended a special session with teachers and students at COMSATS University Islamabad, the aim of which was to provide awareness on the internal situation of the country, the spread of misinformation, and other important issues.
A comprehensive and detailed discussion was held in this session, in which students and teachers participated enthusiastically.
During the session, the participants were informed about various aspects of national affairs, and it was emphasized that the spread of unverified information can prove detrimental to national interests.
On this occasion, the effects of misinformation and disinformation were also discussed, and it was pointed out that awareness and responsible behavior are indispensable to dealing with such challenges.
The students and teachers participating in the session asked various questions to the DG ISPR, to which Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry answered in a reasoned manner. The Q&A session provided an opportunity for participants to express their concerns and opinions, while the briefing provided clarification on issues related to national security and proper use of information.
At the end of the event, the participants expressed their impressions and paid tribute to the eternal sacrifices made by the Pakistani armed forces for the motherland. The participants said that such sessions can play an important role in effectively combating misinformation and disinformation and become a means of promoting accurate information among the youth.
Encouraging the youth, the DG ISPR called them the future of Pakistan and reiterated the commitment that cooperation between the army and the people is indispensable for the development and security of the country. The participants also emphasized that cooperation and solidarity among all institutions are very important to eliminate terrorism.
The session emphasized the need for continuity of such sessions to increase awareness and sensitization among the youth. According to the participants, the session highlighted the key role of students in the stability and development of Pakistan and provided clear awareness about the Fitna al-Kharij.
Finally, the participants expressed their resolve that the Pakistan Army is with us and we are with the Pakistan Army, and solidarity and cooperation will continue for the security and stability of the country.
