ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Decades on, the people of Jammu and Kashmiris continue to wait for fulfillment of their right to self-determination.
According to Kashmir Media Service, India has been impeding the way for a just solution of the Kashmir dispute for the last over seven decades and rejection of Kashmiris’ basic right to self-determination is also a violation of United Nations charter.
Just settlement of Kashmir dispute
There can be no permanent peace in South Asia without a just settlement of the Kashmir dispute as regional peace is hinged on settlement of the lingering Kashmir dispute as per the will of the Kashmiri people.
Kashmiris have the right to seek the settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per their wishes and aspirations and the Modi regime cannot suppress the just struggle of Kashmiris through its military might.
Kashmir has become a flashpoint, it is time for the UN and the big powers to act now and India must remember that its policy of repression is bound to fail in occupied Kashmir.
