SUDHNOTI (Kashmir English): Given the escalating Indian aggression, the district administration of Sudhnoti has formally approved the formation of a Rapid Response Team to ensure swift action during any emergency. The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sudhnoti Syed Mumtaz Kazmi.

The meeting was attended by key officials from health, highways, police, civil defence, Rescue 1122, and the electricity department. Discussions centred around preparations in response to India’s increasing war rhetoric and the need for immediate emergency strategies to protect the local population.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the urgent need for a coordinated and proactive response. He approved the immediate establishment of the Rapid Response Team, instructing that male and female volunteers from across the district be included. The aim is to ensure quick and effective mobilisation in the event of any problem.

Highlighting the Pakistan Army’s capabilities, DC Mumtaz Kazmi stated that the armed forces are fully capable of delivering a strong and fitting response to any form of aggression.Our military is among the finest, bravest, and most professional forces in the world,he said.The public must not panic but should instead remain united and confident.”

He further directed that all emergency departments remain fully alert, with no leaves granted during this period. A formal circular will be issued to enforce full attendance and dedication across all relevant departments.

The Rapid Response Team initiative is part of a wider effort to streamline emergency responses across Sudhnoti. All departments were instructed to maintain close communication with the public and respond instantly to any emergency alerts.

Officials presented their emergency plans during the meeting, with a mutual understanding reached on improving inter-departmental coordination. The Rapid Response Team will act as the frontline during any emergencies, ensuring a fast and well-organised approach to crises.

In closing remarks, Deputy Commissioner Kazmi urged the public to remain calm, cooperative, and trust in the strength of their institutions. With the Rapid Response Team now officially approved and preparations underway, Sudhnoti stands ready to face any challenges that may arise.
