ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): In a recent development, Deputy Commissioner Haveli Raja Imran met Assistant Commissioner Amjad Qadir and other injured personnel of Islamabad Police and Azad Kashmir Police in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
The police personnel were injured during the violent incidents that took place in Dhirkot at PIMS Hospital, Islamabad.
The Deputy Commissioner inquired about the well-being of the injured officers and personnel, asked about their condition, and expressed his best wishes for their speedy recovery.
On this occasion, Raja Imran said that the injured officers and personnel displayed extraordinary courage and bravery while performing their duties.
He said that their services for the rule of law in the state are commendable, and the government values their sacrifices.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, visited the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Muzaffarabad to inquire about the health of police personnel injured in the line of duty during recent incidents aimed at maintaining peace and order in the region.
During the visit, the PM Anwarul Haq met the injured officers, expressing his best wishes for their speedy recovery, and praised their dedication and courage in performing their duties under challenging circumstances.
He assured them that the government deeply values their sacrifices made for the protection of citizens and the restoration of peace.
The AJK Prime Minister was accompanied by Most Senior Minister Colonel (R) Waqar Ahmed Noor and government ministers Chaudhry Qasim Majeed and Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq.
