ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) of Pakistan recently released an official notice containing the revised schedule for the Central Superior Services (CSS) Examination-2027, stating that the registration procedure will start from August 2026 onwards.
In this regard, according to the FPSC notification, the whole examination process will start by holding the mandatory preliminary screening test. So if you want to participate in the upcoming CSS-2027 Written exam, you must clear the MCQ-based Screening Exam first.
Schedule for Screening Test
Online Applications for Screening Test: From 3 August to 20 August 2026.
Conduct of Screening Test: 27 September 2026 (Simultaneously all over the nation)
Eligibility for Written Examination
Candidates passing the Screening Test only will be eligible for the CSS 2027 exam.
Official advertisement for written exams will be released on 8th Nov 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online between 10th November and 25th November 2026.
Candidates have to submit a hard copy of their online application form together with all academic/other required documents at FPSC HQ before 4th Dec 2026.
Written exams of CSS-2027 (CSS Exams 2027) are going to start from 27th Jan 2027.
FPSC has advised the candidates that they should not delay the submission of their application forms till the last date; rather should apply as soon as possible and finish their application within the prescribed time frame.
