National cricketers arrive in New York for PSL roadshow

NEW YORK (Kashmir English): Six national cricketers have arrived in New York to participate in the second Pakistan Super League (PSL) roadshow today, days after a successful PSL roadshow at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.

The PSL road show will begin today at 4 pm local time in New York, where the tournament management will engage with international investors ahead of the auction of its two new franchises, set to be held on January 6.

T20I captain Salman Agha, Test captain Shan Masood, Saud Shakeel, Abrar Ahmed, Saim Ayub, and Faheem Ashraf will participate in the show. Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja, and Ali Zafar will make a special appearance. Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, has also reached New York.

The New York Roadshow is part of the PCB’s global outreach strategy aimed at engaging with international investors ahead of the auction of two PSL franchises, the PCB said in a press release.

“The initiative is designed to highlight the league’s commercial strength, global following, and long-term growth potential.”
