LAHORE (Kashmir English): A sessions court on Thursday restrained the police from arresting YouTuber Saad Rehman, commonly known as Ducky Bhai,’s wife, Aroob Jatoi, until August 30 in a case regarding the alleged promotion of gambling through online videos.
An Additional Sessions Judge conducted the case, wherein Aroob Jatoi appeared through her counsels Irfan Kalyat Advocate and Raja Abdul Rahman Ranjha Advocate.
Throughout the proceedings, the court heard her plea for interim bail. Hearing arguments, the judge allowed Aroob Jatoi interim bail and ordered that she should not be arrested until the next hearing date.
The court, however, ordered her to partake in the investigation and to assist the authorities.
In addition, the investigating officer was ordered to file a detailed report on the next hearing date. The case involves allegations that the YouTuber duo, in their online videos, induced gambling activities.
The scandal erupted after social media circulated videos of the couple.
The hearing for the next date has been fixed for August 30, when the court will examine the report of the investigation.
