Commander Leepa Guard engages with public in open meeting on Pakistan Day

LEEPA VALLEY (Kashmir English): Commander Leepa Guard held a public meeting on Pakistan Day at Domeil Ground, where local residents, traders, and officials gathered to discuss issues, receive assurances of support, and reaffirm their commitment to national unity.

During Pakistan Day celebrations Commander Leepa Guard, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) organized a general public forum at Domeil Ground, Ochri Chak which drew out many participants for the discussion of community matters. Various groups from civil society together with traders and students along with local government authorities participated in the event because community participation in this area remains strong.

At the session Commander Leepa Guard paid attention to public complaints before extending complete support for solving their problems. According to Commander Leepa Guard, the meaning of March 23rd lies in its recognition of the national vow to protect Pakistan no matter the cost. He reaffirmed that residents of Azad Kashmir maintain their unwavering determination to protect their homeland as well as honour the sacrifices Pakistan made for independence.

The commander expressed his commitment while addressing the crowd that the people of Leepa and Pakistani military forces share an unbreakable bond through which they are willing to protect Pakistan together. He expressed confidence that no enemy tactic would succeed, assuring the people that the day is not far when travel to Muzaffarabad via Tithwal will become a reality.

He also assured the public that all possible steps would be taken to address the region’s issues, pledging his unwavering support for the well-being of the Kashmiri people. “We are always here for the people of Kashmir and will take concrete measures to solve their problems,” he stated.

The open court session highlighted the concerns of the local community and served as an important platform for strengthening communication between the people and the security forces. The event concluded with a renewed sense of unity, commitment, and hope for a stronger and more prosperous future for the region.
