ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Naveed Ashraf, said that in Marka-e-Haq, the Pakistan Navy was fully prepared to sink the Indian aircraft carrier Vikrant.

According to a press release from the Inter Services Public Realtions (ISPR),The CNS Naveed Ashraf said that “the mastery and conduct of Naval operations during Marka-e-Haq delivers an unequivocal message that any attempt to challenge Pakistan’s maritime interests will be met with an appropriate response.”

He stressed the significance of having a formidable, balanced, and technically superior navy at the induction ceremony of the2nd PN MILGEM Class Corvette, PNS KHAIBAR, in the Pakistan Navy fleet.

According to the ISPR, the Pakistan Navy fleet includes the latest platforms and unique technologies. On this occasion, Admiral Naveed Ashraf said that the modern platforms and technologies of the Pakistan Navy are capable of targeting the enemy’s important infrastructure and naval assets.

The Naval Chief said that Pakistan is located on the world’s important energy sea routes, where maritime security is the top priority, and a powerful naval force is the need of the hour to protect national interests and secure maritime trade routes.

He further said that PNS Khyber and the upcoming Hangor class submarines would prove to be a leaden wall for the country’s naval defense. The Naval Chief reiterated the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to defending maritime borders and safeguarding sovereign waters.

“Concluding his address, Naval Chief extended best wishes to PNS KHAIBAR crew while reaffirming Pakistan Navy’s resolve to defend sovereign seas and uphold its responsibility as guardian of the maritime frontiers,” as per the ISPR.
