JANKHEL (Kashmir English): A tragic incident has once again shaken the Hindi Khel area of Jani Khel, where an innocent civilian was reportedly beheaded by Fitna al-Khwarij over allegations of espionage.
According to local sources, the victim, identified as Ashraf, was allegedly killed by Fitna al-Khawarij. His body was later found on the roadside, sparking fear and anger among residents.
Locals say this is not the first such incident in the area. Last year, Ashraf’s brother Usman was also reportedly killed similarly. In another case, a resident named Fakhruddin was allegedly abducted and tortured, with his arm reportedly broken before being released.
Community members state that these repeated acts of violence have created a climate of fear in the region. Residents are demanding decisive action from authorities to ensure the protection of civilians and restore peace in Jani Khel.
Political reactions are still awaited as locals call for unity and stronger security measures against militant elements operating in the area.
