CHAKAR (Kashmir English): In a groundbreaking move, the Chakar police has launched an extensive crackdown against cart vendors.
According to the details, during the crackdown, several non-locals cart vendors were detained and transferred to the police station after which they will be summoned by Sub-Divisional Magistrate where legal action will be taken against them.
Additionally, authorities have imposed strict ban against hawkers under Section 144.
