ISLAMABAD: Islamabad and its surrounding areas on Wednesday witnessed massive hailstorms and rain, causing widespread damage to the glass windows of cars and solar panels.
The intense hailstorm wreaked havoc across the federal capital, bringing life to a standstill.
As the widespread rain and hailstorm lashed the capital city, the District administration officers ensured their presence in the field on the instructions of the DC Islamabad.
Assistant Commissioners visited low-lying areas with CDA and MCI teams to address an untowered situation.
District administration teams are present in all areas, including the E-11 sector, the district administration spokesperson said.
