MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A heartbreaking incident occurred in the Muzaffarabad district, where a young boy fell from the roof of a passenger coach and lost his life.
As per details, the boy, identified as Hasnain, fell from a bus near the Garhi Dupatta area from a coach, traveling from Muzaffarabad to Bani Hafiz village in Hattian Bala district.
Rescue 1122 and local police reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. The boy was rushed to RHC Garhi Dupatta, but he succumbed to injuries.
According to the police, the bus driver and conductor fled from the scene, but the bus was taken into possession, and a search has been initiated to apprehend the bus driver and conductor.
The body was handed over to the heirs, and further investigation is underway.
Accidents like this are very common in Azad Kashmir, resulting in the loss of precious lives. Most of the accidents are caused due to over-speeding and poor road quality. The citizens have demanded that the concerned authorities take steps in this regard.
