SWAT (Kashmir English): In tragic news, a blast has been reported near the vehicle of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mumtaz Ali Khan in the Shakardara area of Tehsil Matta on Tuesday.
According to sources, the explosion caused minor damage to the vehicle, and the ANP leader, Mumtaz Ali Khan, remained unharmed.
The District Police Officer (DPO) Swat has confirmed that the explosive device was installed along the roadside, which was supposed to target the leader’s vehicle when passing by the road.
Following the incident, a large contingent of police reached the site, cleared the area, and began collecting evidence.
Additionally, the authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation to determine the actual cause and to trace the person responsible for the attack.
The recent situation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has raised serious questions about the law and order in the province.
