SRINAGAR (Kashmir English): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has said that BJP-led Indian government is a big hurdle in just resolution of the Kashmir dispute through exercise of the UN-pledged Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar said, the Kashmiris’ freedom movement has been accepted as a just struggle at the world arena.

However, he said, India’s incumbent prime minister Narendra Modi, whose hands are soaked with the blood of 3,000 Muslims of Gujarat in India, is a main impediment to the just resolution of the dispute.

“Inspired by the Hindutva-driven mindset, the RSS-BJP regime in India is bringing all like-minded people to top positions in army and civil bureaucracy and is tasking them with weakening Kashmiri Muslims and minorities in India including Muslims, Sikhs, Christian and Dalits in all respects.

APHC also slammed those people and organizations who support Indian occupation of Kashmir and their agendas.

Kashmiris not to compromise

He pointed out that Indian-sponsored parties and leaders want the resistance leadership to accept the status quo on Kashmir, but, he added, the Kashmiri people would not compromise on the mission of thousands of their martyrs.

The spokesman reiterated that separate townships for the Kashmiri Pandits would not be allowed in the Kashmir Valley and asked Pandits to return to their native places and start living with Muslim.

The statement condemned the ongoing cordon-and-search operations, house raids and attachment of properties in the territory, saying that the Indian forces personnel have stepped up the operations to stifle freedom voices.

He said the New Delhi installed regime’s militaristic approach in occupied Kashmir is a challenge to the global community and the world must wake up to rescue the beleaguered Kashmiris from Indian brutal occupation.
