KARACHI: The path to an empowered future has been paved for the deserving families affiliated with BISP, as the Benazir Hunarmand Program has issued comprehensive terms and conditions for participation to provide free technical training and employment opportunities.

The Government of Pakistan, while clarifying the procedure and rules for joining the program, has said that the project aims to make poor and deserving families economically independent by making them skilled.

According to the government announcement, BISP deserving families or their families can receive technical and vocational training without any fee through the Benazir Hunarmand Program.

Along with this training, candidates will also be provided with a monthly stipend, graduation bonus, certificate, and various employment opportunities.

This initiative can prove to be an effective way for those who want to increase their income and improve the livelihood of their families by learning new skills.

The list of courses included in the program is quite diverse, including courses in many fields, including IT, health, hotel management, construction, beauty services, fashion, and textiles.

The duration of these courses has been kept from three to six months so that candidates can learn usable skills in a short period of time and enter the practical field.

According to the issued conditions, only those individuals who are listed as eligible in BISP’s dynamic registry will be eligible for the program.

It has been further stated that the candidate must have a minimum education of Matriculation and be between the ages of 18 and 40. Apart from this, only one person from a family will be able to register themselves in the program.

According to the authorities, the registration portal https://hunarmand.bisp.gov.pk is dedicated to submitting applications; however, the final inclusion of candidates will be decided only after the applications are scrutinized.

Candidates can also complete their registration by visiting the nearest Tehsil office with their original identity card and active mobile number.

This program aims to empower the backward and poor sections of the country and make them economically strong and skilled citizens.
