MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday afternoon as Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) gears up for the general election later this month.
Bilawal was received by Prime Minister of AJK Faisal Rathore, other senior PPP leaders, and workers upon his arrival in the capital, the party said in a statement.
Senior PPP leader Chaudhry Muhammad Riaz, Minister and Deputy Information Secretary Nabila Ayub, Prime Minister’s Spokesperson Shaukat Javed Mir, and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

Earlier, upon his arrival at Kohala Bridge, he was received by the Acting President of AJK Chaudhry Latif Akbar, along with a large number of party workers and supporters.
Hundreds of supporters gathered at Kohala Bridge and Upper Chatter in Muzaffarabad to welcome the PPP chairman.
In a statement, the party said Bilawal will lead the PPP’s election campaign across Azad Kashmir and address a series of public rallies in different districts of the state, adding that he will stay in AJK until the state elections.
During his visit, he will present the party’s election manifesto and outline the PPP’s vision before the people of Azad Kashmir.
