LAHORE (Kashmir English): Pakistan women’s side batter Sadaf Shamas has been ruled out of the upcoming Ireland tour after she sustained an injury.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, Shawaal Zulfiqar has replaced her in the squad and she has joined the national side in Karachi. The national women’s cricket team is scheduled to depart for Ireland on August 3 (today).
T20 Ireland series
The three-match T20 series will take place in Ireland from August 6 to 10.
Pakistan will play three T20Is against Ireland from August 6 to 10 at the Clontarf Cricket Club in Dublin.
The series is likely to serves as vital match practice ahead of important international events, including a home series against South Africa in September and the ICC Women’s World Cup, set to be played under a hybrid model later this year.
