MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Member Legislative Assembly Sardar Mohammad Yaqoob Khan has said that providing basic facilities like health, education in the backward areas is one of the top priorities of the government.
He said that despite limited resources, they were trying to resolve the public issues and added that public service is their party’s manifesto.
He said during the Pakistan Peoples’ Party era, revolutionary measures including the establishment of universities, medical colleges in Azad Kashmir were taken.
He expressed these views while talking to various public delegations. He said the party performance is quite convincing and added every possible step is being taken to solve the problems of the people.
He further said that according to the ideas of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto regarding the construction and development of the State, great steps have been taken to provide bread, cloth and shelter and even today the party’s first priority is solution of public problems.
Azadi Kashmir Movement
“Serving the people is our political manifesto and ideology. The development of the base camp will strengthen the Azadi Kashmir Movement.”
He said that solving the problems faced by residents in the base camp is very important. He said the government was committed to provide basic facilities to people at their doorsteps.
He vowed to remove the backwardness of the constituency by providing basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps.
He said the day is not far when the people of the constituency will have health, education and road facilities.
He said that despite the limited resources, hundreds of projects have been completed for the betterment of the constituency in the last several years.
