MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A delegation from the brother country, Azerbaijan, visited the capital city of Azad Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, on Thursday to attend a special ceremony at Heydar Aliyev Girls School/Higher Secondary School Rara, which was constructed by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Almaz Mahmud Nasibova, the Head of the Media and Information Literacy Center, Azerbaijan, and Vice Rector of the Tele-Radio Academy AZTV, led the delegation.
The students and faculty of the school warmly welcomed the delegation, and they presented a colorful tableau to welcome their guests.
Speaking at the ceremony, Almaz Mahmud Nasibova thanked the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir for their gracious hospitality. She noted the close ties that are shared between the two nations of Pakistan and Azerbaijan and noted the affection shared between the people of both countries.
‘This school is a gift of Azerbaijan to the people of Azad Kashmir,’ she said, demonstrating the no-limits character of the relationship shared between the two countries. She noted that for mutual support, both countries are the same and both nations share trade in an innumerable number of unique aspects, and the opportunities grow from both countries’ shared and supportive interests.
