MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): According to the Azad Kashmir weather update dark clouds gather over Muzaffarabad on Wednesday as loud claps of thunder echo across the city. Chilly winds sweep through the area, and there is a strong possibility of rainfall.
This comes as part of a wider weather update issued by the Meteorological Department, forecasting stormy conditions in Azad Kashmir and several parts of Pakistan over the next 24 hours.
The present weather forecast reveals that the states of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan are likely to receive gusty winds, thundershowers or rain. People are advised to pay attention and act appropriately always, especially during the stormy seasons.
Other parts of Pakistan specifically its capital city Islamabad is expected to have showers that will be followed by thunderstorms too. The weather forecast for most of the districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is partly cloudy and chances of showers have been forecasted in Chitral, Shangla, Dir, Swat, Malakand Kohistan and Mansehra.
The weather forecast shows more hot and sunny conditions all around Punjab but a light shower is expected in Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang and Mianwali. The inhabitants of these zones should also expect shifts in the climate conditions in the future.
Partly cloudy skies will dominate Sindh while Tharparkar and Mirpur Khas are likely to face rain and thunderstorms. In Balochistan, all the districts including Quetta, Chaman, Ziarat, Barkhan and Sibi are likely to have rain and thunderstorms.
