MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Azad Kashmir Weather will be rainy and hazy in the upcoming days. The Pakistan Meteorological Department issued a weather alert on April 16th, warning that various parts of the country, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), will face rain, storms, and hail until April 20th.

This weather system is expected to continue intermittently until April 20th. The rainy period between April 16th and 20th may bring hailstorms together with strong winds to select areas.
The Met Office predicts that from April16th through April 20th thunderstorms coupled with rain will affect Islamabad and several areas of Upper Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Murree and Galiyat and Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. During this period the weather becomes colder while hail conditions are predicted to occur within hilly areas.
The areas of Sindh, South Punjab and parts of Balochistan will face ongoing heatwave conditions through the period up to April 18th. The daytime temperatures throughout these areas are predicted to stay above average during this period.
Intensified wind speeds together with dust storms will affect several districts in South Punjab according to the Met Office forecast for April 18th and April 19th.
These include Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Layyah, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Vehari, and Okara. There is a risk of falling trees and damage to weak structures due to the wind, prompting the people to be cautious in the wake of the upcoming Azad Kashmir Weather conditions and other regions.
Weather experts have advised the public to avoid unnecessary travel during rain and storms considering the upcoming Azad Kashmir Weather. Farmers have been asked to plan their harvesting and agricultural activities according to the current weather conditions.
