MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have been enjoying pleasant weather from the morning, whereas the light rain, gusty wind conditions are expected to continue throughout the night.
The Meteorological Department has issued instructions to the citizens to take precautionary measures.
Mainly hot and very humid weather is likely to persist over most plain areas of the country. However, partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in northeast Punjab, Islamabad, Pothohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Isolated heavy falls are also expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.
During this, there is a possibility of flooding in rivers and canals in some areas, and water accumulation in low-lying areas.
