MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Armed forces support Kashmir in an unwavering manner. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Service Chiefs, and Pakistan Armed Forces reiterated the Pakistan Armed Forces’ unwavering support for the tenacious people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in their rightful fight for self-determination on Kashmir Solidarity Day.

 Armed forces support for Kashmir.

“We pay tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Kashmiri people, who have endured decades of oppression, state-sponsored brutality, and egregious human rights violations. Their unwavering resolve in the face of tyranny remains a beacon of courage and inspiration for the entire nation,” said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release.

The Pakistan Armed Forces strongly condemned the ongoing grave violations of human rights in IIOJK, including extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and arbitrary detentions.

“These transgressions stand as a stark indictment of India’s blatant disregard for international law, humanitarian principles, and fundamental human rights,” the military’s media affairs wing stated.

“We call upon the international community, global human rights organisations and the United Nations to act immediately and decisively to address the plight of the Kashmiri people and implement the resolutions by the United Nations Security Council according to their aspirations.”

The ISPR further said that the Pakistan Armed Forces stand firm on the just cause of Kashmir and are resolute in their duty to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. “We stand shoulder to shoulder with our Kashmiri brethren in their rightful pursuit of freedom and dignity.”

It added, “Long live Pakistan! Long live Kashmir”.

Meanwhile, all the preparations have been finalised to celebrate Kashmir Solidarity Day across Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and all over the world where Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora communities are present. The day, which falls on 5th February, Wednesday, is a reaffirmation of absolute solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the renewal of the pledge to continue extending the fullest moral, political, and diplomatic support to their legitimate right to self-determination. Which has been denied by India for the past 78 years through its unlawful and forcible occupation of the disputed Jammu and Kashmir region against the aspirations of its people.

The annual observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day, with a single voice, by over 240 million people of Pakistan signifies the clear-cut fact that the Indian rulers can no longer deceive global opinion. The explicit will of the gallant people of Jammu and Kashmir, who have been struggling for the last 76 years to achieve their birthright to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions at any cost would be forced upon the Indian rulers.

All the necessary arrangements have been finalised to observe the day with traditional zeal and fervour in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The people of AJK reaffirm their firm resolve to continue their struggle for the achievement of their birthright to self-determination, striving to liberate their motherland from Indian occupation and achieve their ultimate goal of accession to Pakistan. This keeps the spirit of the historic 19th July 1947 resolution, unanimously adopted by the historic meeting of the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference held at occupied Srinagar.
