NEW YORK (Kashmir English): Apple is likely to introduce this year’s cheapest iPhone 17e on February 19 February 2026.

Now the first glimpse of this phone has emerged, which gives an indication of what the iPhone 17e will look like. The iPhone 17e has a dynamic island instead of a notch, while there is also MagSafe charging support on the back.

Earlier, recent leaks had said that Apple would use a notch design like the iPhone 16e for the selfie camera in the iPhone 17e instead of the dynamic island design.

In terms of design, the iPhone 17e will look similar to last year’s iPhone 16, although more colour options may be available. According to this new leak, the iPhone 17e will have an 18-megapixel selfie camera hidden in its Dynamic Island design.

Similarly, the phone will have an A19 chip inside and a single 48-megapixel camera on the back. According to various leaks, the phone will have a 6.1-inch display and a 4000 mAh battery, just like the iPhone 16e.

But it will have a new C1X modem and N1 wireless network processor for better internet speeds.

Apple has decided to implement a smartphone release schedule that includes two product launches each year. Entry-level “e” models will be released in spring, while flagship devices will launch in the fall.

Long-term rumors suggest this strategy may grow further with the standard iPhone 18 moving to a spring launch slot that will occur alongside the 18e by 2027.

The price of the 128 GB storage version of this phone is likely to start at $599.
