AUSTIN, USA (Kashmir English): The Texas Department of Public Safety and the FBI arrested Mohammad Dawood Alokozai, another Afghan national, on terrorism charges, American media reported on Saturday.
The arrested Afghan citizen claimed in a video message that he was making bombs to target the Fort Worth area of Texas.
American media said Mohammad Dawood Alokozai came to the US under Joe Biden’s Operation Allies Welcome, and now threatened to carry out a bomb attack in the US.
This video message was released two days after the White House incident, after which the FBI and Texas Public Safety took action and immediately arrested the Afghan citizen.
Afghan national involved in White House shooting
It is to mention here that two National Guard members were shot Wednesday afternoon in Washington DC, less than two blocks from the White House, in what the city’s mayor called a “targeted shooting”.
The incident left two victims in critical condition and US president Donald Trump said on Thursday that Sarah Beckstrom, one of the two National Guard soldiers shot near the White House a day earlier, had died from her injuries.
The suspect was identified as an Afghan national, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29.
