Akmal Sargala of forward bloc joins PML-N AJK parliamentary party

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Chaudhry Akmal Sargala, Minister for Forests in Azad Kashmir, has parted ways with the Forward Bloc and joined the parliamentary party of Muslim League-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

Akmal Sargala joined the PML-N during a meeting in Islamabad with PML-N AJK President Shah Ghulam Qadir, former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan, Syed Shaukat Ali Shah, and Sardar Amir Altaf.

Sargala’s joining the Muslim League-N

Chaudhry Akmal Sargala stated that his joining Muslim League-N marks the beginning of a new era and that he will play his part in strengthening the party.

Formal announcement of joining the parliamentary party of Pakistan Muslim League-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir was made in the presence of central vice presidents Dr. Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Khan, Syed Shaukat Ali Shah, Minister of Government Sardar Amir Altaf Khan, Additional Secretary General Zulfiqar Ali Malik, Deputy Secretary General Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi, and others.

Chaudhry Akmal Sargala had previously contested the MPA elections on a Muslim League-N ticket. He also had the support of Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, which he acknowledged upon joining.

Shah Ghulam Qadir and Raja Farooq Haider congratulated Akmal Sargala on joining Muslim League-N and stated that his father was associated with Muslim League-N and was among the party’s founding members.
