MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have been witnessing heavy rainfall, flash floods for the last few weeks.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Rain-wind/thundershowers (with isolated heavyfalls) are expected at scattered places in Sindh and Punjab.
However, partly cloudy weather with rain-wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Northeastern Balochistan. Whereas the dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.
According to the Met Office, a Deep depression is over North Gujarat (India), and likely to move westwards along adjoining areas of Pakistan during the next 24 to 36 hours. Due to this weather system, strong monsoon currents are likely to penetrate in southern half of the country.
