MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has distributed buses to several government colleges in Mirpur division.
The keys of the new buses were handed to the principals of various colleges during a ceremony organised at the Government Ghazi Elahi Bakhsh Postgraduate College for Women in Mirpur.
Several government ministers, including Most Senior Minister Col. (retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor, Minister for Energy Chaudhry Arshad Hussain, and Minister for Public Works and Communications Chaudhry Azhar Sadiq, attended the ceremony.
Apart from that, Chairman Board of Education Professor Dr. Nazar Hussain Chaudhry, Commissioner Mirpur Chaudhry Mukhtar Hussain, as well as educationists, principals, teachers, students, and members of civil society, were also present.
The new buses were given to Government Girls Degree College Islamgarh, Government Inter College Jatlan, Government Boys Degree College Dadial, Government Girls Inter College Thathi Kasgama, and Government Girls Degree College Sukasan.
