AJK PM inaugurates solar street lights in Mang bazaar in Sudhanoti

SUDHANOTI (Kashmir English): Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, on Monday, inaugurated the solar street lights installed in Mang Bazaar in Sudhanoti district.

The Local Government Department has installed 45 street lights in Mang at a cost of Rs 6 million, the press release issued by the government’s PID said.

On the occasion, the Director of the Local Government Department, Tahir Ashraf, gave a briefing to the Prime Minister.

He said that 30 lights were to be installed in the approved budget, while keeping in mind the Prime Minister’s savings program, 45 street lights have been installed.

The Prime Minister highly appreciated the steps taken for the welfare of the people through the savings program.

During the briefing, the staff of the Local Government Department, Deputy Director Local Government Sudhanuti Saran Ajmal, Action Local Government Raja Khurram Bashar, and others were also present.

The Most Senior Minister Colonel (retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor, government ministers Sardar Muhammad Hussain Advocate, Sardar Aamir Altaf, Nisar Ansar Abdali, Advisor to the Government Sardar Ahmed Sagheer, and others also attended the ceremony.
