KOTLI (Kashmir English): Azad Kashmir Minister for Higher Education Zafar Iqbal Malik has kicked off his election campaign for the 2026 general elections in a grand manner.
A large convoy led by Malik reached Union Council Kakanni in Kotli district, where he was warmly welcomed by supporters and party workers.

While addressing a grand gathering, Malik emphasized the importance of Operation Banyan Marsus, which he said had brought everlasting happiness and joy to the nation. He congratulated the military leadership, including Field Marshal Asim Munir, for their role in the operation.
The Minister for Higher Education expressed his support for Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, who he believes will continue to serve the people for another year.
Malik highlighted the developmental changes brought about by Chaudhry Anwarul Haq in the Raj Mahal constituency and expressed confidence in his future endeavors.
The event marked the beginning of Malik’s election campaign, which is expected to gain momentum in the coming days.
