ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Information Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, has called on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, including the current situation in Kashmir. Former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Akram Khan Durrani was also present.
Information Minister inquired about the well-being of his son, Maulana Asjad Mehmood, from Maulana Fazlur Rehman. During the meeting, Pir Mazhar paid tribute to Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s national and public services and presented a souvenir.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazlur Rehman praised the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir for their sacrifices and determination against Indian atrocities. He assured that the people, youth, and nation of Pakistan stand with the Kashmiris.
“The determination, courage, and spirit of the Kashmiri people have thwarted Indian ambitions,” the JUI-F leader said.
Speaking on the occasion, Information Minister Pir Mazhar Shah said that the only obstacle to the implementation of India’s nefarious Hindutva ideology is Pakistan. The people of Pakistan have always fully supported the Kashmiris.
“A strong, stable, and prosperous Pakistan is the guarantor of Kashmir’s freedom. The people of Pakistan have always fully supported the Kashmiris,” he added.
