KUALA LUMPUR (Kashmir English): Minister for Information Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah, met with influential Muslim leaders in Kuala Lumpur, emphasizing the need to promote unity among the Muslim Ummah and to take a stand for the oppressed Muslims worldwide, particularly in occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Gaza.
Muslim bloc
During the meeting, the leaders stressed the importance of strengthening ties between Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and other Islamic countries to form a strong Muslim bloc.
They agreed on the need to rise above linguistic, regional, and sectarian differences and work towards unity.
The leaders also decided to launch a global campaign to raise awareness about the Kashmir and Gaza issues, involving influential scholars and personalities from Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey, and other Islamic countries.
