MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has declared a public holiday in educational institutions on Friday.
The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir had declared a public holiday in educational institutions on the said date due to the participation of a large number of teachers from across the state on the occasion of the Teachers’ Convention.
According to the notification, this holiday will apply to all government and private schools across Azad Kashmir.
The Education Department has directed the heads of all relevant institutions to ensure strict implementation of this declaration.
The Education and Schools Department, while paying tribute to all the teachers for organizing the Teachers’ Convention, has said that teachers are the guarantee of the educational future of the state, and the Azad Kashmir government will continue to take vigorous steps for the welfare and well-being of teachers and the resolution of their problems.
