ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar released a comprehensive operational update on Operation Ghazab lil-Haq on Sunday, detailing significant losses inflicted upon the Afghan Taliban regime following its unprovoked action along the Pakistan border.
The statement by the minister said that as of 8 March 2026, 583 Afghan Taliban were killed while 795 injured in the operation.
Similarly, Pakistan security forces destroyed 242 check posts along the Pak-Afghan border.
They also captured 38 additional posts and subsequently destroyed them.
The statement said that 213 tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns were also destroyed during the operation. As many as 64 locations across Afghanistan were effectively targeted by precision air strikes by the PAF.
Operation Ghazab lil-Haq
The operation was launched in late February 2026 after an unprovoked cross-border firing from the Afghan side.
