MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The admission deadline for various academic programs for the Spring 2026 semester at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has been extended, allowing students to enroll in the specified programs without late fees until February 25, 2026.
According to a statement issued by Shazia Siddique, Regional Director of Allama Iqbal Open University Muzaffarabad Division, the university has decided to extend the admission campaign for the convenience of students.
Under the extended deadline, new admissions for Matric, Intermediate, BS, Teacher Training Programs, Associate Degree Programs, Diploma, and Certificate Courses can be submitted until February 25, 2026, without any late fee.
The last date for admissions to MPhil and PhD programs has also been set for February 17, 2026, while the last date for enrollment for current university students will also be February 17, 2026.
Regional Director Muzaffarabad Division, Shazia Siddique, stated in her announcement that, “Allama Iqbal Open University is continuously taking steps to provide quality education that aligns with modern requirements. The purpose of extending admissions is to provide further convenience to those students who could not enroll on time due to various reasons. We appeal to all male and female students of Muzaffarabad Division and its adjoining districts to complete their admissions and enrollment processes within the stipulated dates to avoid any difficulties.”

She further said that students can obtain admission forms and other details from the university’s official website or the Allama Iqbal Open University Regional Campus Muzaffarabad.
