KARACHI (Kashmir English): Pakistani actor Mommar Rana has addressed rumours about his separation from his wife, saying he hopes their relationship can be reconciled rather than come to an end.
The actor shared his thoughts on his married life, family support and personal struggles during a podcast hosted by comedian Qaiser Piya.
During the conversation, the host asked whether Rana’s wife had sought a divorce or khula and whether his children had discussed the matter with him over the phone.
Rana responded by insisting that he and his wife had not separated. He also expressed his continued love for his wife, children and family.
Recalling a difficult period in his life, the actor said his father, brothers and sisters-in-law had supported him through challenging circumstances. He expressed gratitude for their help while choosing not to comment on other family members out of respect for their relationships.
Rana also acknowledged making mistakes in the past, saying that everyone can make mistakes at some point in life.
He criticised social media users for circulating claims about his personal life without understanding the full context, adding that old videos should not be used to form judgments without knowing the circumstances behind them.
The actor further revealed that he had spent around nine months at different places during a difficult phase of his life, where he had opportunities to attend lectures and learn.
He said emotional support and having people stand by someone during difficult times could be just as important as financial assistance.
