ABBASPUR (Kashmir English): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate from Abbaspur, Sardar Amjad Yousaf, has announced his commitment to bring genuine change in the region based on equality rather than clan or community affiliations. He shared these views during a press conference on Monday.

PPP candidate Sardar Amjad Yousaf stated that his politics stands for equal rights and development for all, and that he has entered the political field to uplift Abbaspur through practical reforms and long-overdue solutions.

Laying out his development agenda for Abbaspur, Sardar Amjad Yousaf promised that if the people trust him with their votes, a new grid station would be established within the first year of his tenure. He also committed to reconditioning 50 kilometers of roads in the area, aiming to improve basic infrastructure.

He further explained that his manifesto is built on three main pillars: development, equality, and public service. He stressed that he prioritizes public welfare over personal gains and intends to address the issues that have been ignored in the constituency for years.

While speaking about his political opponents, Sardar Amjad Yousaf took a swipe at Chaudhry Yaseen, saying that he shouldn’t fear the so-called “Gulshan of fugitives”, hinting at political figures avoiding public accountability. “We know them, and so do the fugitives,” he remarked.

Residents of Abbaspur have long voiced concerns over neglected infrastructure and lack of basic services. With elections drawing closer, Sardar Amjad Yousaf’s message of equality and development seems to be gaining traction among the people.
