MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The 21st Senate meeting of the University of Kotli took place at Aiwan-e-Sadr, chaired by the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry.
During the 21st Senate meeting of the University of Kotli, the Vice Chancellor of Kotli University, Professor Dr Rehmat Ali, gave a comprehensive update to Senate members on the university’s progress, ongoing projects, and educational activities both inside and outside the classroom.
In his address, President Sultan Mahmood, who also serves as the Chancellor of Azad Kashmir universities, highlighted the importance of using all available resources to bring the university up to international academic standards.
He emphasised the need for a uniform education system and the delivery of quality education to prepare students to contribute positively to society after graduation.
The President further underlined the importance of merit, transparency, and strong institutional practices in the university’s functioning during the 21st Senate meeting of the University of Kotli. He also assured his full support for advancing higher education in the region.
