MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The AJK Electricity Department (AJKED) on Thursday issued a schedule for the electricity outage in several areas of Muzaffarabad from Saturday, April 5, 2025.
According to the notification, the electricity will remain cut off on six feeders in the Muzaffarabad sub-division due to necessary maintenance of lines and branch cutting.
The load schedule hours will be from 9 am to 3 pm on April 5, 8, 12, 15, and 19. The affected feeders include City-1, City-3, City-5, Nauseri, Secretariat, and New Secretariat.
Moreover, the electricity will cut off for the Water Supply feeder on April 12 and 19 which will affect water treatment plant Makri.
As per the schedule, the major areas that will face backlash also include the government offices, including the Prime Minister’s House, Chief Sectretary House, and President House.
Domail, Mohalla Shah Sultan, Zero Point, Narol, Tanga Stand, Bank Road, Main Bazar, Kacheri Road, Madina Market, CMH Road, Sethi Bagh, Qazi Mohalla, Gulshan Colony, Tariq Abad, Dehrian Syedan, Sangri Mera, Podi Mar, Makri, Sathra, and other localities in the capital city will also affect from the five-day power outage.
