MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has issued orders to retire the Social Welfare Officer Saeed Assad. The reason for this issue is cited as his involvement in activities that go against the state and national interest. However, instead of terminating his employment as a harsher punishment, the decision to retire him was made, reportedly on humanitarian grounds.
According to the official notification issued on March 25, 2025, an inquiry was conducted to determine if the alleged accusations of misconduct were true or not. The results revealed Assad’s involvement in actions that were deemed dangerous and detrimental to the interests of the state. Under normal circumstances, such actions lead to severe, harsh punishment.
