ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Bangladesh cricket team will tour Pakistan in May this year for a 3-match T20I and ODI series.
The white-ball series will feature three T20Is and three ODIs, finalizing postponed Future Tours Programme (FTP) commitments.
Originally scheduled as part of the FTP, Pakistan-Bangladesh series was postponed due to scheduling conflicts.
Later, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chairman Faruq Ahmed visited Pakistan for the Champions Trophy and discussions helped finalize the rescheduled tour.
The series will take place after the conclusion of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled to be played from April 11 to May 18.
Two-match Test series 2024
Bangladesh last visited the neighbouring country last year for a two-match Test series, where they thumped the hosts 2-0. The May tour marks their second consecutive visit in as many years.
According to media reports, the white-ball matches are likely to be held in Lahore, Multan, and Faisalabad, although final venue confirmations are still pending.
