BAJAUR (Kashmir English): Three people were injured in a drone attack by Khawarij on a cricket ground in the Mamund Tehsil of Bajaur, rescue sources said on Friday.
The attack was carried out by Khawarij while the locals were playing cricket in the ground in the Shahi Tangi area.
The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital, where they are being provided medical assistance, rescue sources added.
After the incident, security forces have cordoned off the area and started searching for Khawarij. Meanwhile, the security has been put on high alert in the area.
Tribal elders and locals have strongly condemned the incident and demanded the end of Fitna al-Khawarij in the area.
It should be noted that Fitna al-Khawarij use quadcopters to target civilians to achieve their nefarious goals and spread fear and terror among the people, of which there is much video evidence.
