MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has decided to celebrate a week of Solidarity from May 1 to 10 to mark one year of victory in the Mark-e-Haq ‘war of truth’ and to express support for the armed forces of Pakistan.
According to government spokesperson Shaukat Javed Mir, the celebrations will be held under the leadership of Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Hafiz Syed Asim Munir.
During the celebrations, various ceremonies, seminars, and special programs would be organized in government and private educational institutions as well as various departments across Azad Kashmir, during the 10-day campaign.
The spokesperson added that the events aim to promote national unity, pay tribute to the armed forces, and highlight the sacrifices made for the country’s security and sovereignty.
